About

The club’s origins go back 45 years. It has evolved to an active club of over 200 members. We are a volunteer based, nonprofit organization. Our support comes from club membership, visitor passes, and our community.

The mission of the Club is to promote healthy, active living through Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and cycling (non-motorized).

The park is a hotspot for various species of birds and animals, such as the Pine Marten (as seen below). Sightings include lynx, fox, black bear, snowshoe hare, moose and coyote.

Visit eBird for more information on the 69 bird species reported in the park.

Enjoy the park during all four seasons. During Spring, Summer and Fall, visit on foot or bicycle.

“Travel our trails quietly and enjoy what nature has to offer. It is almost certain that your experience will draw you back again. Nature really does call if you just take the time to listen.”

In June 2023, the Town of Pasadena and the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador signed a  Habitat Stewardship Agreement committing to the conservation and enhancement of wildlife habitat.

Pasadena Ski and Nature Park is one of three significant wildlife habitat areas under the agreement. The park is a known habitat for numerous plant, lichen and animal species.
